All mammals—and in fact virtually all vertebrates—share a functional endocannabinoid system with humans. This includes dogs, cats, and horses. CB1 and CB2 receptors are distributed throughout their nervous, immune, and digestive systems in a manner analogous to humans.

What the research says

A study by Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (Gamble et al., 2018) observed improved activity and comfort in dogs with osteoarthritis after 4 weeks of CBD at 2 mg/kg twice daily. Important: cats metabolize cannabinoids differently than dogs and are more sensitive.

How to use it properly
